It was interpreted by some of the arias more prominent in the operatic repertoire of Donizetti
Ópera de Tenerife, in collaboration with the Municipality of Garachico, organized the Sunday [día 24], from 12:00 hours, a lyrical recital in the old Convent of San Francisco. In this activity, you could hear some of the arias more prominent in the operatic repertoire of the composer Gaetano Donizetti (Bergamo 1797– 1848).
The interpretations were in charge of the tenor David Astorga, and the soprano Nina Solodovnikova, accompanied on the piano by maestro José Miguel Román. The presentation of this activity, called Aperitif lyric, was in charge of the mayor of Ópera de Tenerife, Alejandro Abrante.
On this occasion we were able to enjoy a variety of parts, such as: ‘A furtive tear’ [L’elisir d’amore], ‘Una parola, o Adina… Chiedi all’ aura lusinghiera’ [L’elisir d’amore], ‘Quel guardo ilcavaliere… So anch’io la virtù magica’ [Don Pasquale], ‘Tornami a dir che m ami’ [Don Pasquale] and ‘Ah! Mes amis, that jour de fête… Pour mon’âme’ [La fille du régiment]. The meeting ended with a snack.
This activity, which began last season and that has already been present in Puerto de la Cruz, la Laguna and Güímar, aims to disseminate the opera -through recitals – in different spaces and scenarios of the island of Tenerife.
