The tests will give as a result the cast of `Il matrimonio segreto, the title of the eighth edition of this renowned program
Auditorium of Tenerife, cultural space which depends on the Area of Culture of the island Council of Tenerife, which directs the director Enrique Arriaga, announces the dates of the auditions of the project of Opera (e)Studio, Opera de Tenerife. The international competition will take place from 30 November to 18 December in four cities of Italy and Spain: Parma, Palermo, Madrid and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The stakeholders that have not yet signed up can do so until 10 November at 18:00 hours.
The singers chosen will be part of the eighth edition of Opera (e)Studio, the academy of holistic formation for young artists led by Giulio Zappa. On this occasion, construed days 18, 19, 20 and 21 march 2021 Il matrimonio segreto, in Cimarosa, a co-production with the Teatro Regio di Parma and the Teatro Massimo di Palermo.
In addition to Zappa, the project, known internationally, will feature musical direction Davide Levi, the stage direction of Roberto Catalano, costume design by Ilaria Ariemme and the lighting of Fiammetta Baldiserri.
The tests were to be carried out between the 11th and the 19th of may 2020 but the health crisis forced its postponement. Thus, the new dates of the auditions 2020, except that the health situation prevents us from doing this again, will be the following: to 30 November and 1 December in Parma, December 3, at Palermo, on 15 and 16 December in Madrid, and on the 18th of December in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

This program for young artists aims to provide a training of high specialization in the picture lyric international, serving showcase and springboard for many of them. In the past editions have participated, between auditions and selected singers from more than 24 different nationalities. Opera (e)Studio also drawn attention to the work of production technique of Tenerife Auditorium, obtained throughout 2019 and 2020, in recognition of the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission, reflecting the development, sustainability, job creation and training.
